This walk is designed for beginners, but seasoned birders are welcome to join us. The walk starts at the D & R Canal State Park Headquarters, 145 Mapleton Road, for this Sunday morning event. This was a very nice walk. Highlights included
1)yellow rumped warblers drinking in Heathcote Brook
2)a turkey vulture sitting on the Princeton Nurseries smokestack and
3)a sharp-shinned hawk that took a dive at a flock of juncos, right in front of us, then sat in a nearby tree so we could see all his field marks.
